cadra feat. Gazoda - Hysterical Day [sc00166] - Casper van der Stelt, Robin Wakker, Alex B
i can't possibly write an unbiased description about music i made myself, but having no description at all would be even lousier. i'll just quote myself: "this release comprises two cooperative projects i've done in the past -err- year or something. the b-side track was conceived originally as a pretty standard trance track, as a way to help my friend alex biesheuvel, a.k.a. dutchmage, into starting to make music using renoise; he wanted to give it a try...
Matthijs B - Travelling [sc00116] - Matthijs Breijer
matthijs b's first lounge/downtempo track doesn't sound like his first at all, and that's a big up... the calm (yet a little eerie) strings, laidback groove and trancy lead saws provide a very nice atmosphere... too bad it's quite short, we want more! :D

cadra - Needin' No More [sc00121] - Casper van der Stelt
cadra's new "needin' no more" consists of 2 tracks: the first being what it's about essentially, and the second being a weird breakbeat experiment. the main piece is a downbeat acid lounge track, complete with eerie strings and tight bass. the 303 is the main attraction here, as it goes from nice round bass to screeching mayhem. the end of the track is also very neat! "forget it" is a bonus track, filled with strange breakbeat madness: overdrive, parametric eq shifts, you name it...
